Welcome to Canungra Op Shop
From its humble beginnings in 2008, Canungra Op Shop has grown to become quite an iconic part of Canungra. From the road it looks like a tiny little country-town op shop. Don’t let the looks fool you though! Walk through the op shop and find 2 sheds with even more pre-loved treasures.
Canungra Op Shop has not only served the local community but also overseas projects through it’s fundraising. Locally we have purchased needed items for sporting groups and helped people in times of need. Meanwhile, overseas we have supplied clothing, medical supplies and other equipment in Vanuatu & Solomon Islands. There are also over 20 children in India & Nepal who we have sponsored.

Recycling &
Salvaging
Do you have too much “stuff?” If so, you are not alone – most of us do. Many people find it hard to let go of their unwanted stuff, especially when those items have sentimental value. Still, there is a growing trend toward a stream-lined existence.
One hurdle to cross in achieving a de-cluttered life is deciding what to do with unwanted things. One valuable option is donating to charity. Anything that is in good condition can be salvaged for sale. Things that aren’t good enough to sell can be given away, or in some instances be sold to recycling companies. At our op shop, we aim to do that as much as possible, to avoid sending donated items into landfill.
